Ready for an education update?

On Sunday, January 15, Studio 417 Salon welcomed Eufora‘s Global Team Educator, Mirza Batanovic. Mirza taught a layering cut for long hair and demo’d techniques for refining and finishing cuts. Our staff also received additional education on Eufora products to assist them with achieving the best styling result for their guest.

Brooke Templeton, one of our talented assistants, raved about the class. “I learned a lot at the cutting class on Sunday! He taught us in a different perspective, which helped me understand his cutting concepts more. 10/10, would take again!”

David Wenzel, one of our lead educators had a few things he wanted to share about our experience with Mirza. “Continuing education has always been important to me and my career. Any chance I can expand my knowledge I will take it, and this Sunday was no different. With Mirza,  we were able to learn something that is very common, long layers. The technique we learned was quick and easy and perfect for those clients wanting to keep their long length but maximize the volume. I am proud to be working for a salon that believes in continuing education.”

Mirza has been a stylist for over 9 years, an educator with Eufora International for 3 years and was appointed as a Global Team member this past October at Eufora’s Global Connection. Mirza resides in Manhattan where he works in an elite salon as a colorist and stylist.

Originally from Zvornik (Bosnia and Herzegovina), Mirza began working behind the chair in Colorado. Although he enjoyed living in Colorado there was something about the climate and ocean views that drew him to California where he interviewed and was accepted as a stylist at Headlines for Hair in Encinitas. From there Mirza began his teaching career with Eufora and has pursued everything from Editorial work, television work and appearances, fashion work and events. His true love is education and he credits Eufora with providing him the education and familiar atmosphere that has helped him to continually better himself.
